Te Amo

I walked into the lobby where Hannah had been sweeping just in time to hear her yell "I  hate you in portuguese, dutch, spanish, and every other language!" at Mark. I gave Mark a confused look. He replied, "You have a bone to pick with Hannah." Hannah informed me she had been learning spanish from Mark and all night, Mark and John, my boyfriend, kept standing in her way as she swept. Hannah asked Mark how to say 'move' in Spanish. Mark told her 'te amo'. Every time Mark or John got in her way, she repeated 'te amo'. A few upper classmen happened to pass through the lobby Hannah was sweeping. They overheard her say 'te amo', took pity on her, and informed her the correct translation of 'te amo'. 'Te amo' means 'I love you'.
